At Arco Español Academy, we foster Spanish language learning at all levels in both group or private settings. Below are our specific offerings.
BEGINNING LEVEL CLASSES
At the beginning level we begin by talking in Spanish immediately. We build confidence in basic listening and conversation skills through role playing and games. Students are introduced to time, numbers, and ways to communicate in daily conversation.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CLASSES
At the intermediate level we continue to work with grammar and verb tenses to help build conversation. We build comprehension of various materials including the writings of Cervantes, Neruda, and Marquez. We discover the magic of idioms and metaphors, which helps us to understand the culture and daily life of Latin America. We continue to immerse ourselves in traditions and arts of Mexico and Latin America.
CLASSES FOR CHILDREN
The Arco Español program uses age appropriate language activities in Spanish. Your child will explore music, movement, science, and art in a fun, caring and supportive environment. We will explore Spanish culture to broaden your children’s vision of the world and to teach them to respect and understand our similarities and differences.
Bringing language and culture together motivates the children to learn. Students laugh and play and before they know it, they’re shouting out answers to questions in Spanish.
GROUP IMMERSION
Want to learn more about Spanish culture and language in a group? Pick a time and place. We are ready to discuss selected topics of your choice.
CUSTOM PROGRAMS
We create custom programs to serve specific needs such as bilingual interaction in the workplace and basic communication needs in daily life. These programs can be implemented individually or in a group setting. Custom programs created by Arco Español include Spanish for travelers, high school tutoring, and improving communication in the healthcare environment.
